After graduating from this intensive 4-year curriculum, he went to work at the Shipyard as a State of Virginia licensed Journeyman. While employed at the Shipyard, he gained invaluable experience and, shortly thereafter, earned his credentials as a Certified Master HVAC Mechanic.  He enjoyed his chosen profession, but felt a strong calling to serve the residents of Hampton Roads in a more direct way. Mr. Worley left the Shipyard to go into the residential HVAC industry and soon joined the largest Trane Dealer in Hampton Roads as an Indoor Comfort Consultant. Chuck's contribution to his company quickly earned him an appointment as the head of a newly-opened sales office on the Virginia Peninsula.  He made an immediate impact in the Peninsula market by gaining new customers at the expense of local competitors. In fact, Mr. Worley was so successful that he was recognized as the top sales professional in Hampton Roads the next two years running. He attributed that success to his ability to find the "best value" solution for his customers while giving them a choice between good, better and best budget options. It's a philosophy that has served him well, even to this day! After two very successful years, Chuck found that his employer was no longer providing the high-quality installation services he had been selling to his customers.  The company's quality control functions were not keeping pace with its growth rate.  Realizing that his two greatest assets (his own credibility and his employer's service reputation) were in jeopardy, Chuck decided it was time to form his own company...a company that would maintain a reputation for outstanding repair and installation services for every customer.  Energy Efficient Heating & Cooling was formed shortly thereafter to provide the very best in Indoor Comfort Solutions to Peninsula home and business owners.
