Room-by-Room Load Analysis

Energy Efficient has always been a leader in adopting new technologies to benefit our customers.  Whether you are designing your customer home or commercial office, or replacing your existing HVAC systems, Energy Efficient has adopted the latest computer-aided system design software to ensure that your system is designed around a number of critical elements. Most HVAC contractors fail to adapt to technological changes that are revolutionizing our industry.  When you select Energy Efficient to replace your existing system or design a system for your custom home or commercial building, you can breathe easy knowing you are getting the latest design systems at the same time!

Building Design Variables

Your home or office has been designed for aesthetics and functionality.  The materials used to build the structure have a huge impact on how your HVAC system should be designed. Our Room-by-Room Load Analysis program takes into account the amount of glass, type of exterior materials, roofing design and individual room layout to generate a properly balanced HVAC system.  Using this technology will have a tremendous impact on designing your new custom dwelling, but Energy Efficient also uses this software to help "rebalance" loads on existing homes and offices.  When necessary, we can recommend additional ducting, add dampers, or install zoned control systems to eliminate hot and cold spots for your home or office.

Environmental Variables

Our planning efforts don't stop at the door!  To be truly effective, design software must take environmental factors into account.  Even the orientation of the building with Northern and Southern exposures must be taken into consideration when designing or upgrading your HVAC systems. Energy Efficient's Room-by-Room Load Analysis software considers these external factors when determining the proper sizing of your new or replacement systems.

The Planning Process and Documentation

Most important of all...a quality HVAC contractor will not only produce a Room-by-Room Load Analysis for each of its installation projects, they should provide the customer with a copy of it for future reference.  Energy Efficient offers a copy of this plan with every job. If you are considering another contractor, you should ask the contractor if they routinely provide it to their clients.  Be suspicious of any contractor who doesn't provide one as part of the project.

We've included examples of our Room-by-Room Load Analysis output so that you may better understand what a proper planning output should include.  If a contractor you are considering can't provide this detail of information, they aren't designing your system to optimize performance or minimize ownership and operating costs.  If that is the case, contact an Energy Efficient Comfort Specialist immediately for a free initial consultation.
