The System Replacement Process

You've made the decision to replace your current system; now you need to know what to expect.   Energy Efficient believes that the more knowledgeable our customers are, the more likely they are to remain with Energy Efficient Heating and Cooling. We're going to take you on a virtual tour of the system replacement process so you know exactly what to expect.  By working together, we can minimize the inconvenience that goes along with this significant work to your home or office building.

10 Steps to A Hassle Free System Replacement

Energy Efficient's 10 Step Process begins and ends with you. If, for any reason during the system replacement process you believe our Service Technicians and Installers are not in compliance with the Process, contact our Production Leadership Team at 757-595-4433 immediately.  Our Production Supervisors will ensure that your concerns are addressed and that you are confident in our ability to handle your system replacement with as little inconvenience as possible.

Step

Activity

  1

Sales Visit     Our Sales Staff will describe the step by step process Energy Efficient's technicians will use to replace your existing system.

  2

Planning Review     Just before your project begins, a senior member of the retrofit team will pay you a visit. The planner will cover the project plan in great deal, revealing a series of daily plans and identifying project priorities that reduce the inconvenience you must endure.

  3

Red Carpet Treatment     Time to get started...first we protect your floors and carpeting by rolling out protective floor covers. Yes... the protectors happen to be red!  We'll also give you the first daily plan.

 4

Equipment Removal and Site Preparation     Using the daily plans, EEHC technicians remove the old heating and cooling systems and properly dispose of them.  We'll also begin site preparations to accommodate the new TRANE components and upgraded ducting.  You'll hear about our progress in a daily progress briefing by the lead technician.

  5

Equipment Installation     Now our technicians start to install and secure your new TRANE system components.  We perform thorough tests and inspections of all our work to ensure the systems deliver the value advertised.

  6

Daily Production Briefing    Our service technicians start work each day of the project with a production briefing.  Communicating our daily goals keeps the project running on-time.

  7

System Operations and Maintenance Training     As systems are activated, Energy Efficient takes the time to train you on the operation and maintenance of your new TRANE Comfort Systems.

 8

Post Installation Functional and Operational Testing     Energy Efficient provides the highest quality services because we believe in proper quality control procedures.  We test as we go and again when we are done.

  9

Clean up and Equipment Removal     We never leave a mess.  Energy Efficient will clean up the construction area and remove all the packing material and old equipment.

10

Happy Check     After the installation work is complete, our management team goes over the project to ensure that every customer is satisfied with the work that's been done by the Energy Efficient team.  We may ask you to complete a Satisfaction Survey.
